Online applications for scholarships are now being accepted by the Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship program for the years 2023–24.Students in Pakistan are being encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity to study at prestigious Hungarian universities by the Higher Education Commission (HEC).
The Hungarian government introduced the Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship Program in 2013 with the intention of giving international students the chance to complete their higher education studies in Hungary. The program’s primary goals are to increase the number of foreign students studying in Hungary and to motivate local universities to recruit excellent international students.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade oversees the scholarship program, which is coordinated by the Tempus Public Foundation. The initiative is based on bilateral agreements for educational collaboration that Hungary and the Ministries in charge of education in the sending countries/territories have signed. The program currently has more than 80 Sending Partners participating on 5 different continents, and its geographic reach is expanding yearly.
